Terms
The short version: $9.99 once, 1 Mac, no refunds.

Who sells cleno
cleno is made by Divv Saxena, an independent developer. In these terms, “we” means Divv Saxena and “you” means the person or company that buys or uses cleno.
Payment
cleno costs $9.99, paid once. There is no subscription and no renewal.
Dodo Payments is the merchant of record: it takes the payment, issues the invoice and handles taxes. Its own terms cover the payment itself.
Your license
A purchase gives you a personal, non-exclusive license to use cleno:
- On 1 Mac at a time. To move it, deactivate the old Mac in Cleno › Settings › License, then activate the new one.
- For as long as you like: the license does not expire.
- With every update we release for the version you bought. If a future major version is ever sold separately, your license keeps working with the version you have.
No refunds
All sales are final. We do not offer refunds, including for change of mind, a Mac you no longer use, or a license key you did not activate.

Where the law of your country gives you a right to a refund that cannot be waived, that right still applies.
What you may not do
Don't:
- Share, resell or publish your license key.
- Get around the licensing, or copy, modify or redistribute the app.
- Use cleno to break the law.
Your files
cleno reads your folders to show what they hold. It changes nothing until you confirm, and then it moves what you picked to the Trash; it never deletes outright. Items stay in the Trash until you empty it, so check the Trash before you do.
You decide what goes. Keep backups of anything that matters (Time Machine is built into macOS).
No warranty, limited liability
cleno is provided as is. We work to keep it reliable, but we don't promise it is free of bugs or right for every Mac.
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for lost data, lost profits or indirect damages, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid for cleno ($9.99).
Privacy
cleno runs on your Mac and has no analytics. The only network calls are for licensing. The privacy policy has the details.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the new version is posted here with a new effective date. Changes never take away a license you already bought.
